Ward-Humphrey General Contractors completed a comprehensive facility renovation at Manning Oaks Elementary School, an existing single-story elementary school for Fulton County Schools.

The project included a total HVAC replacement, replacement of the building’s backup generator, and major electrical system upgrades, including power distribution equipment, lighting, intercom systems, and main switchgear. Interior improvements included new floor finishes and ceilings throughout the facility.

Due to the school’s large footprint and the need to protect existing finishes, the project required detailed planning and precise coordination. The work was highly technical from an MEP perspective and was delivered within a tight summer schedule to ensure the building was ready for the upcoming school year.

Completed in summer 2024, this renovation reflects Ward-Humphrey’s experience executing complex, time-sensitive improvements in active educational environments while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule control.
